Leap Music Boosts Creative Resource

11 June 2008

Leap Music, a specialist music consultancy, has further enhanced its creative offering by hiring a third researcher – Craig Madley.

Craig joins the Leap team on a consultancy basis and is tasked with finding the best tracks for advertisers’ marketing communications. He will augment Leap’s existing creative resource of Alex White (musician with Electric Soft Parade, Brakes & The Pipettes) and Alban de Pury (ex. A&R at 679 Recordings, now manager of artist Josh Weller) who were hired in January this year.

Richard Kirstein, Managing Director of Leap Music says: “Craig has invaluable experience working with both superstar acts and emerging talent – plus he has a massive address book of contacts across labels, managers, promoters, agents and radio DJs. I have no doubt that Craig will bond quickly with agency creative teams and help our clients find great music for their upcoming campaigns.”

Craig Madley says:
“Researching music for commercials is an exciting challenge – I’m looking forward to applying all I’ve learned over the years to this task, and so help Leap Music’s clients find great tracks.”

About Craig Madley
Craig has over 15 years experience in the music business, spending time at both major & independent record labels including Sony Music, Warner Music, Phonogram, A&M, MoWax, Heavenly, Deltasonic, Gut & Independiente. Craig’s focus has been music promotion & radio plugging, working with a broad range of artists from Jamiroquai, Wet Wet Wet, Texas & Red Hot Chilli Peppers to The Bluetones, Longpigs, Chromeo & UNKLE. Most recently Craig has been working in the music/brand space - helping Southern Comfort to find acts for their live events and sourcing bespoke tracks for Nike+.
